On November 9, 2021, nearly 60 guests gathered at Altesi in New York City to honor our 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 American Immobiliare scholarship recipients. These young professionals are all pursuing advanced degrees in real estate and were recognized for their outstanding academic and community service accomplishments over the past several years.

Congratulations to St. John's University School of Law and Mattone Institute Gia Fernicola, Meghan Paola, Joe DiOrio and Kristin Russo and Madeleine Bernadicou from Colombia University.

    Dear Members,

I hope you and your families are well. It’s hard to believe October is upon us. We miss seeing you all in person but I am hopeful we will find opportunities to connect in 2021.

The Board has been working hard to identify different ways to sustain our organization through this challenging period. We know we will come through this even stronger and want to thank you for your generous and continued support.

We are currently evaluating a variety of opportunities to keep American Immobiliare members connected and engaged over the coming months, including modified in-person events. I hope to have more information to share with you later this fall.

One positive final note. I am pleased to report that we awarded scholarships to three deserving graduate students for the 2020-2021 academic year. We could not be prouder of these three individuals and look forward to seeing more from them in the years ahead.

    •         Joseph DiOrio - St. John’s University School of Law (Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law)
    •          Gia Fernicola - St. John’s University School of Law (Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law)
    •          Sophia Salvatore - Wisconsin School of Business (Master of Science-Business: Real Estate and Urban Land Economics)

Thank you for being part of the American Immobiliare community and for your continued support.

    Sincerely,

    Gary Romaniello

    Board President
